compiled by a great scholar and expert of hadith, Imam Wajihuddin Sayyid
'Abdurrahman bin Muhammad bin' Umar bin 'Ali bin Yusuf bin Ahmad bin' Umar ad-
Diba`iy asy-Syaibani al-Yamani az-Zabidi asy-Shafi'I al-Hasani (known as
Ibn ad-Daiba'I, ad-Daiba 'in the Sudanese language means white, which is
the nickname of his grandfather, Ibn Yusuf). He was born on the 4th day of Muharram year
866 H and Friday friday 12 Rajab 944 H (so, he was about 76 years old).
He is a well-known and unmatched hadith scholar on
its life span. He taught the Shohih Imam al-Bukhari more than 100 times
khatam. He attained the degree of Hafidz in the science of hadith, ie a
Memorize 100,000 complete hadiths with their chains. Every day he teaches the hadith
from the mosque to the mosque. Among his teachers was Imam al-Hafiz as-Sakhawi, Imam
Ibn Ziyad, Imam Jamaluddin Muhammad bin Ismail, mufti Zabid, Imam al-Hafiz Tahir
bin Husain al-Ahdal and many more. In addition, he is also a muarrikh, an expert
famous history. Some of his many books are:
Taisirul Wusul ila Jaami`il Usul min Haditsir Rasul; a book containing
a collection of hadiths quoted from the hadith book 6.
Tamyeezu at-Thoyyib min al-Khabith mimma Yaduru 'ala Alsinatin Naasi minal
Hadith; a book that distinguishes the authentic hadith from another (such as
dhaif and maudhu).
Qurratul 'Uyun fi Akhbaril Yaman al-Maimun.
Bughyatul Mustafid newspaper madinat Zabid.
Fadhail Ahl al-Yaman.
He is an honest, gentle spoken and beautiful speaker.
In the field of fiqh, he promotes Shafi'i. and many things that can be proof
that he belonged to Ahlussunnah Waljama'ah (Sunni), wrongly
the only one was his love and respect to the Messenger of Allah, Ahl al-Bayt,
as well as the Shahabat Rasulillah.
